Luxury Cape Peninsula: Private Breathtaking Coastal Tour

We did a full-day private Cape Peninsula tour and it was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, David, was delightful — very informative, engaging and a real pleasure to spend the day with. The tour has a clear framework, but there’s plenty of flexibility to suggest places you’d like to see and where you’d prefer to stop for lunch, which made it feel very personal. The scenery is stunning throughout, and we were lucky enough to see plenty of wildlife- penguins, seals and ostrich, and even managed to spot whales breaching while we were having lunch, which was an unforgettable bonus. We covered a lot without it feeling rushed, including Lion’s Head, the Twelve Apostles, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach to see the penguins, with lots of stops for photos along the way. What really stood out was the depth of knowledge — not just about the sights, but also interesting cultural insights into local townships and a great overview of Cape Town’s history. A brilliant, well-paced day and a wonderful way to see the Cape Peninsula.

Great wonderful private trip down the coast of South Africa to the peninsula. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to beautiful and interesting sights. It was unfortunate that we didn't know the Chapman peak road was closed at 10 am on Wednesdays for maintenance so we lost a bit of time turning around but got to experience the coastal drive on the way back. It's a long day but totally worth it to explore the stunning area.

We were driven in a private car to all the highlights of the cape peninsula guided by our fantastic and knowledgeable driver Gideon! The company was really flexible picking us up at our villa and our guide tailored our trip to our time requirements.

The trip was just perfect made so by the natural beauty of the places and our guide Paul. Paul made our trip seamless and had a deep understanding and the backstory of the locations. The services by the travel company met our expectations in all respects. Being a private car tour we could tweak the route and the timings as per our preferences which made it so much more enjoyable.

We had the best time in Cape Town with our guide Sam. He was so knowledgeable and provided us an outstanding tour. Starting our day at Boulders Beach to see the penguins was just one of the highlights of the tour. We had no idea that Cape Town and surrounding area was so diverse and beautiful. The Cape of Good Hope and Table Mountain were some of our favorites. The difference in this tour vs others was Sam. He provided running dialogue of the history and pertinent information about every place. His knowledge was so much appreciated. We highly recommend this tour with Sam.

We had Paul as our tour guide and he was brilliant! Friendly, accommodating, took great photos and just an all round great person to spend the day with We saw penguins, we made it to the Cape of Good Hope and even a small wine tasting ahead of going straight to the airport. Brilliant day!
